Vigilante Justice Your #1 location for information on Vigilantes and Vigilante Justice Tue, 10 Feb 2015 01:14:15 +0000 en-US hourly 1 48677295 Motorcycle Litter Vigilante Videos – Chasing down litter bugs and getting them back Tue, 10 Feb 2015 01:14:15 +0000 Litter vigilantes are nothing new and I believe everyone has a little bit of a litter vigilante in themselves.  No one wants to see people blatantly litter.  It shows the laziness of an individual and the disrespect for a community is someone chooses to litter.

The motorcyclist vigilante’s videos look a bit staged but I can’t prove it one way or another.  He happens to be armed with some non-lethal retaliation in both videos which seems a bit to convenient.  If these two videos are legit then it makes them even funnier.

In video number 1 the litter vigilante sees someone parked next to a garbage can dump trash out of their vehicle onto the ground.  The vigilante motorcyclist jumps into action and throws an ashtray at the individual while they are in their car.

In video number 2 the motorcycle vigilante watches someone throw a bottle out of their window onto the street. The vigilante rides into action picking up the bottle, catching up to the litter bug and then duct taping the bottle to his side mirror.

Vigilante Bicyclist Rocks the Streets of London Mon, 09 Feb 2015 22:20:01 +0000

The Malaymail Online reported on a 49 year old bicyclist Lewis Dediare who is one of a few dozen bicyclists driving around the streets of London busting individuals on video that are breaking the law.  Whether it’s bad driving, running red lights or even traveling too close to bicyclist Dediare is there to document it while riding his bicycle.  To see if vehicles travel to close to bicyclist Mr. Dediare carries a tape measure to document any such instances of it.

According to reports Mr. Dediare reports approximately 4 individuals to police every day. He even posts the infractions on Youtube.

So why did Mr. Dediare begin his vigilante efforts to document bad driver in London?  In 2009 he was involved in a bicycle accident for which he nearly died.   And he isn’t only worried about himself. Approximately 15 bicyclists are killed every year in London.

And even though Mr. Dediare is doing a noble thing, others don’t feel that he is.  Many call him a snitch while others have attacked him.

Mr. Dediare’s efforts are not in vain.  The police are on his side and take action on the evidence he provides to them.

Being a vigilante doesn’t require hurting someone physically to make them do the right thing.  It’s the fear of getting in trouble that keeps people from doing the wrong thing.  Providing videos to the police and the police acting on those videos is what will eventually help drivers to understand they need to be safer on the roads.

The police Chief  Henry Delgado to the media that officers tried to prevent the lynching of the three individuals two of which were  identified as brothers  Enrique, 26, and Rigoberto Ramos 18 and their 18 year old nephew Leonardo Herrera but were unsuccessful.  The three men were later tied to a tree and burned alive.

The men were captured on Saturday, August 23, 2014 by the mob.

A Vigilante Pulls Over a Police Officer Speeding While Talking on a Phone Sun, 31 Aug 2014 05:35:54 +0000 I was a bit surprised to watch this video unfold.  You can see the police officer first attempt to defend his actions with a response that would be expected from a police officer.   This officer was different and his response was refreshing.

I think you will be surprised of the response of this police officer.  His response is admirable and he provides the type of response that all officers should be willing to provide when in a situation like this.  You Tube responses don’t do justice to this event and I don’t think they look at it from the proper perspective.  I hope you do.

Shoplifting Vigilante Gets Shoplifter on Video Sat, 30 Aug 2014 20:51:02 +0000 A man gets caught by what many are calling a shoplifting vigilante.  Reported by CNN and many others you can see the man (shoplifter) removing his license plate so the video camera vigilante could not video tape it.  He then throws all the stolen groceries into the back of his vehicle that he states were purchased (however not bagged) into the back of his vehicle and departs.

One can only assume that he has been arrested by now (at the very least).

Vigilante Crashes into Car to Protect Children Sat, 30 Aug 2014 18:12:07 +0000 Fox 13 reported how a 14 year old teenager in Syracuse Utah took his grandfather’s vehicle without permission.  A citizen located the vehicle after hearing efforts to locate the vehicle on his police scanner app.   In a raw footage video taken by a citizen you can see the vehicle speeding through a park with children all around.

Later in the car chase a citizen identified as Bryson Rowley drove his truck into the kid putting so many people at risk because he could see that the teen driver was heading back in the direction of the park.  The car chase officially ended around 6:12 p.m. at 1500 S. Banbury Drive in Syracuse.

The teenager was taken into custody.

There is a silver lining about the vigilante citizen sacrificing his vehicle to stop the crazy teen driver.   The vigilante’s insurance company wouldn’t cover the damage because the accident was intentional.  West Valley Carstar body shop did about $15,000 worth of work on his vehicle on only $7,500 worth of damage.  The added some extras like “new turbos, new front differential parts, a new fuel system, new back bumper and some new shocks.”  This was according to

Russian Vigilante Stops a Drunk Driver Sat, 30 Aug 2014 16:45:41 +0000 A Russian vigilante tracks down a drunk driver and pulls him from his vehicle.  The driver was not very cooperative but the vigilante does it without hurting the driver.

Calgary Police Warn off Potential Vigilantes Fri, 25 Apr 2014 04:23:47 +0000

Police officers in Calgary are warning members of the public to not take justice into their own hands (vigilante justice) against Chad Barry Robert Stone.  The 41 year old Stone was charged with voyeurism and luring a child by telecommunication after a video recording device was found in the girl’s bathroom along with a large amount of technology that was confiscated from his apartment.  (It is assumed that the authorities determined the technology found in his apartment to be closely associated video recording equipment).

Stone has since been released on bail to return to his residence with strict conditions associated to his release.  As one could imagine neighbors are very uneasy having him back in the neighborhood after knowing what he had been charged with.

Inspector Chris Butler stated the following,

“Although I understand the concern of people that live in that area, we’re not going to tolerate criminal misconduct and we will lay appropriate charges if there is vigilantism that is criminal in nature.

“We have to understand … we live in a society that is governed by law … and we will not tolerate any vigilantism.”

Canadian_police_carsPolice indicated they were beefing up patrols in the area of the victim and the accused.  This is presumably to protect the alleged victim as well as the accused from any vigilantism taking place.  However despite saying they are conducting more patrols in the area, neighbors have not seen a noticeable change in police activity throughout the area.

Law enforcement officials have stated allegations against Stone continue to come in and they are following up on the information that comes in.   There may in fact be more charges filed against Stone after information pulled off his digital storage device is evaluated.

Stone’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 7, 2014.

Photoshop Vigilante Lorde – Vigilantism Takes All Forms Mon, 21 Apr 2014 20:06:51 +0000 Lorde the female recording artist from New Zealand best known for her song Royals released an untouched photo of herself on Twitter performing to remind fans that it is ok to be imperfect.  Lorde is quite ok with the fact that she has flaws and apparently doesn’t want anyone thinking that she is perfect which I applaud her for.

She recently started another tweet campaign in regards to a recent Teen Vogue spread.  She said that she loved the photo however believes that the teen magazine changed her nose because it looked a bit different than usual.

Lorde 2

The photo Lorde refers to is clearly altered in more ways than one to give it that artistic feel.  There is nothing wrong with touching up photos but the problem that many people fail to talk about is how every picture shown these days in fashion magazines refer to a skinny girl with a perfect complextion.  The reality is that not everyone looks perfect.  I think this is why Lorde has come forward and called out her own picture.

I don’t know if Lorde is the perfect role model for you men or women but it is refreshing to see someone as a vigilante in respect to calling out those that aim to make every picture of a model look perfect.
